PLANO, Texas, January 2, 2019 – Toyota Financial Services (TFS) announced it is offering payment relief options to its customers affected by the current federal government shutdown. This broad outreach includes any Toyota Financial Services (TFS) or Lexus Financial Services (LFS) customer financially burdened by the government shutdown, including furloughed workers, businesses and employees of businesses directly affected by the shutdown, government contractors, and suppliers.

(MTMUS) announced today an agreement with the Center for Biological Diversity and Tennessee Riverkeeper (Conservation Groups) to protect the spring pygmy sunfish and its unique habitat, which is adjacent to the MTMUS auto plant site in Huntsville, AL. The agreement is designed to protect and restore the habitat of the sunfish, protect against long-term risks to the sunfish and its habitat, and provide funding for measures to be used for the benefit of the sunfish over the long-term.

National Environmental Education Foundation and Toyota Award Grants to Restore Public Lands Impacted by Natural Disaster
Extreme weather events have been grabbing headlines with increasing frequency. Whether a hurricane, tornado, or flood, communities face the challenge of recovering from the damage and preparing for potential repeats. Non-profits are taking a larger role in helping communities rebound,* and restoring their access and enjoyment of local public lands is an important component. To support these efforts, the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) and Toyota Motor North America, are awarding $200,000 in Restoration & Resilience grants to support the work of nonprofit organizations on public lands impacted by natural disasters.
