Carlos Liriano is a true example that the American Dream is alive and well. Born in Cuba, he and his parents emigrated from communist Cuba to America and made a home in New Orleans, Louisiana when he was nine years old. Carlos became the first in his family to go to college, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Finance from Southeastern Louisiana University.
His automotive career began directly out of college at Performance Toyota in Baton Rouge, LA. In four short years, Carlos went from Baton Rouge’s Rookie Automotive Salesperson of the Year to Sales and Finance Manager at Louisiana’s number one Toyota dealer, Lakeside Toyota.
Over the course of 25 years, Carlos gained valuable experience while climbing the ranks of various automotive organizations in Louisiana. From his stint at Don Bohn Ford in Harvey, LA to his turn as General Manager of both Toyota of Slidell and Northshore Toyota, Carlos developed a proven track record of success as a hands-on, full-time dealer operator. Carlos’ Toyota dealerships won numerous awards such as Charter Dealer for Signature Certification, Market Share Leader for GST in both cars & truck sales several years running, multiple President’s Awards, Pinnacle Awards, and TMS Corporate Sales & Service Excellence recognition.
As the son of a Cuban refugee, Carlos learned by example that hard work and persistence are rewarded. After spending a majority of his life toiling in the car business, he has finally fulfilled a long-term goal of owning his own Toyota Dealership. In March 2012, Toyota opened its newest franchise located in Bastrop, Texas with Carlos Liriano as Dealer Principal.
Carlos and his family (wife Laurie and four children Christy, Carmen, Scott, and Michael) moved to the Historic District in the City of Bastrop just a week before the largest wildfire fire in Texas devastated the community. The Liriano Family did not hesitate integrating themselves into their new community and are involved in numerous activities. Liriano Family brought their love for Food, Family and passionate community spirit to Lost Pines Toyota and has been dishing up more than just truly exceptional customer service for the first few years of operation. Some Friday's have been dedicated to seasonal or special causes during their Gumbo Friday monthly event, such as, Breast cancer awareness, Veteran’s causes with the District's VFW and Color Guard, “Stuff The Truck” w/ local food, school supply and toy drives, Boys & Girls Clubs fundraisers, partners to bring a new YMCA, created Xtreme Xprerience for X-Games to Austin, supporting multiple Chambers and County festivals, and personally champions education initiatives in his fast growing community.

Being “The Green Dealer” is deeply inspired by Central Texas’ commitment to the environment, its “green” initiatives, and its devotion to historic preservation. It was this inspiration that led Carlos to understand that a cookie cutter building did not belong in Bastrop County, but rather a facility that embodied the community’s core values had the potential to touch thousands of lives. As a result, Lost Pines Toyota became Central Texas' first and only LEED Gold Certified Auto Dealership in Central Texas. This eco-friendly dealership is committed to efficiency have eliminated paper consumption by 60percent, data is scanned, electronically stored and archived including signed file copies, tech notes, diagnosis sheets, vehicle inspections.
